The origins of the Atelier logo A school is a hub of learning, of creativity, of experiences. In itself, it can be considered an atelier. Educational administrators design systems and programs to support school learning. Our work with those administrators is similarly creative. Developing solutions is the role of Atelier.
To create the Atelier logo, we used eight octagons to represent eight key dimensions of educational operation. We suggest that these dimensions interact to create a the complex and dynamic outcomes and unique culture of school education. The octagons represent: - Learning
- Wellbeing
- Teaching
- Curriculum
| - Parents
- Community
- Leadership
- Evaluation
| We believe it is these eight dimensions that need to be considered when evaluating education issues, policies and practices. It is our experience that only by impacting all eight areas can we improve the culture and outcomes of our schools. We suggest that only by working in all eight dimensions can we support and guide school education into the 21st Century. | |
